You all know we love a bit of Duckwrth here at TMR; whether that be his bone-shaking ‘Love Is Like A Moshpit’ or collaborative twist ‘Nobody Falls’. The Los Angeles rapper is currently cycling through a new phase of his creativity as we head towards the next album, of which some of you may already have heard ‘Find A Way’ featuring Alex Mali, Radio Ahlee and Bayli. What’s really exciting about this release is the new animated video, which was inspired by a trip to Disneyland. As Duckwrth shared on his Facebook page, “I went to Disneyland last year & found that there weren’t many Black characters for Black children to look up to. Since that day, I’ve wanted to curate more animations using Black & POC characters.” Directed by Mark Rubbo and Chad Tennies, with 3D animation by Hi From The Future, the visuals for ‘Find A Way’ strike somewhere between Black Panther and Avatar to excel the inspirational song and Duckwrth’s ever-expanding vision. - Hannah Thacker   [Photo credit: Tray Duplessis]
